This statement applies to classes run independently by Liquid Yoga. 

Liquid Yoga collects personal data about you prior to your first class, 1-1, workshop, pop up or immersion. This information is collected via a details form which is filled in by you and includes your name, email address, address,  telephone number, basic health information and emergency contact details. This information is collected to comply with Liquid Yoga’s insurance requirements and for your health and safety.

All information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence and stored in accordance with GDPR legislation (25 May 2018). If you fill out a paper form, it will be scanned and saved electronically in an online password protected account. Your paper form will then be cross-cut shredded. If you fill out an electronic form, it will be stored securely in a password protected account. 

Liquid Yoga will only keep your data for as long as is necessary to satisfy any legal, accounting or reporting requirements. Should you elect not to share this information with Liquid Yoga, it may prevent you attending classes or workshops.

Liquid Yoga uses spreadsheets to record bookings and monitor attendance. Again these are saved securely and password protected in accordance with GDPR legislation (25 May 2018).

You may change or update your data, review how it is used or request that your data is returned to you and / or deleted at any time by emailing Liquid Yoga at liquidyogalife@gmail.com.

 

How your data is used

For current students attending Liquid Yoga classes, if you consent, your phone number may be used to inform you of any last minute class or workshop cancellations, changes or availability. Your email address may be used to notify you of any important class, workshop, pop up or immersion information.

At the time of booking, you will be asked if you would like to receive updates about new classes, workshops and marketing information from Liquid Yoga. If you agree your email will be added to our secure, third-party, newsletter system (Mailchimp). You can manage your own preferences quickly and easily at any time including unsubscribing.

 

Emergency contact details

Emergency contact details are collected solely for use in an emergency should Liquid Yoga need to contact your next of kin.
