Service Description
A 2 hour workshop on the 16th May 2026 with yoga teacher Emmalene designed to improve your balance straight away and give you the chance to practice balance poses in a pressure-free environment with personalised support. The workshop includes: - foot & leg strengthening techniques - developing your sense of balance - understanding your nervous system and ability to balance - balance posture practice sessions - tea and snacks Balance is a major factor in keeping us confident, strong and injury free, particularly as we get older. Find out how to balance and support yourself better. You'll have the chance to practice balancing on one leg- and if you wish to, you can work up towards trying arm balances and headstand. Held in the Council Room at Alwoodley ACA Hall Prior yoga experience not essential.
